We love visiting Grant's Farm! Brendon iin his short little life has been to Grant's Farm more than most visit in a life time!

Last year I took him by myself and had a blast following him around capturing some awesome moments of him.

Cafe Affton's 3rd Annual Golf Tournament...

Cafe Affton hosted and sponsored it's 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on June 29, 2008. Brendon and the future "Brendon's Smile...Raising Awareness For Childhood Stroke" received the proceeds from the benefit! The owners of Cafe Affton, Craig andBill, and the entire staff were AWESOME! Here are some pics of the event!

My Goddaughter!

I am blessed to have two very special God Children, Devon and Olivia! Today I want to share a photo of Olivia as it is her 4th birthday! I can't even believe it is possible! It's funny because she has always been a strong willed little bitty package! She wants to do want she wants to do. She cracks me up! Olivia is in charge!

May 3, 2008...National Childhood Stroke Awareness Day

Children's Hemipalegia and Stroke Association has declared the first Saturday of every May to be National Childhood Stroke Awareness Day! So naturally I jumped in on this bandwagon! The St. Louis Cardinal's so kindly recognized the day by inviting Brendon to through out the first pitch at a Cardinals/Cubs game. I was able to get a proclamation from the Govenor of Missouri, Matt Blunt to officially recognize the day in the State of Missouri!

Our efforts actually began on May 2, 2008 when we traveled down to a local television station to raise awareness for childhood stroke. The first picture is of Stephen and Brendon with the hosts of ShowMe St. Louis after they announced the day on live t.v. Brendon, Stephen, and I were accompanied by my cousin, Diane and my parents, Brendon's Mamaw and Papaw!

In The Beginning...

Stephen and I actually met in 1998 at the police academy. Our relationship didn't begin there. It began in the fall of 2000 when we were brought together at a funeral of a fellow officer and dear friend, Sergeant Richard Weinhold. Fast forward to November 22, 2003...we were married!

We were going about our lives married yet very involved in our careers. We were not planning for what happened next...Brendon! In January of 2005 I learned that I was pregnant. Immediately Stephen was elated, smiles from ear to ear! I on the other hand was in complete shock...which lasted all of 24 hours and then the maternal instincts kicked in! Brendon completely turned our lives inside out, up side down... He made us become better and more loving people even before his birth! We were in love with him long before we ever laid eyes on him! Brendon made his debut early in September of 2005!
